My upcoming book focuses on emotions, based on the hypothesis introduced in my 2015 book, ‘The Science of Consciousness.’ The hypothesis derives evolution and intellect from physical laws. This book focuses on consciousness and emotional regulation. It combines philosophy, religion, ethics, neuroscience, physics, and engineering into a cohesive read, which entertains and informs. The book aligns itself with age-old religious and philosophic wisdom but offers explanations drawn from cutting-edge scientific research.
Its novel finding is that the brain is a self-regulating system, operating according
to physical principles. Emotions are the fundamental forces of motivation for interaction with the
outside world. This way, conscious operations are governed by the laws of
physics. For example, extensive scientific literature
indicates that quantum mechanics has a role in human
behavior and thinking, providing an explanation
for many social interactions, such as passive aggression, the uncertainty of
behavior, or why we avoid eye contact in the elevator.
The book is
written for a general audience as a practical guide for better living. Simplified
brain anatomy places into context how consciousness gives rise to the mind. It offers a classification of emotions as fundamental motivations, which govern
individual behavior. The understanding of emotions as part of the social world provides tools for achieving mental excellence. The cohesive description, grounded in neuroscience, offers practical tools for spiritual transformation, success, and happiness.
The book’s unique viewpoint offers a novel perspective on emotions and how they regulate
our social environment. Their understanding
makes it possible to better recognize people’s motivation and inner lives to become a positive
force in society.
